We have great mounts, wonderful topography and
scenery which will make your spirits soar.

FISHING
ADVENTURES
Lake
and farm dam fishing are each on offer. Both
resources are stocked with Murray Cod,
Silver Perch, Freshwater Catfish, Golden
Perch and Yabbies. Fish in our private dam
or visit nearby Split Rock Dam or Keepit
Dam.

FARM ACTIVITIES
There
always lots of things happening around
Oakhampton Homestead and this ensures
there's always interesting things to see and do.
Shearing,
milking, feeding animals or just exploring
the property's 4000 acres.

PRIVATE TENNIS
COURT
Guests
have free use of our tennis court and this
includes the loan of rackets and balls if
required.
We do
encourage you to bring your own equipment if
possible.

SUPERB BIRD WATCHING
Many
bird species to be found on Oakhampton and
around the Manilla district. Some recent
visitors spotted 103 different birds during
a three day visit. This included the Regent
Honey Eater previously thought to have
vanished. Yes,
bring your binoculars.

SWIMMING FUN
You're
welcome to frolic in our own private
swimming pool. Alternatively there's several
dams and rivers nearby where it's pleasant
to swim and use your canoe or kayak.Why not
turn it into a full picnic day at the same
time?

BICYCLE RIDING
There's
plenty of tracks and roads on and
around the property as well as a number of
quiet roads nearby.
If you
quite enjoy cycling through new country then
you'll find it worthwhile to bring
your your bike to Oakhampton.
